Will is a builder and accelerator of businesses. He achieves this with his unique capabilities in identifying and capturing opportunities through research/analysis, global network, negotiation, and investment. With over 10 years of experience, Will has successfully helped numerous businesses across the United States, Europe, Middle East, and Asia.

Prior to his involvement with Willkommel, Will was a former External Advisor and Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, covering M&A and Energy sectors in the United States, the Western Europe, the Middle East, and South Korea. Will also holds advisor roles to Hashed Ventures, one of the largest web3 & tech venture funds in Asia.

During his time at McKinsey, Will advised corporates, private equity funds, and high-net-worth individuals on their investments and divestitures, by assessing upsides, risks, and evaluating valuations. In addition, he crafted implementation plans to capture value creation potentials and hedge against downside risks. Will's main clients included Integrated O&G companies in Europe and the US, national energy companies in the Middle East, soverign wealth funds in the Nordics, private equity funds and governments around the world. Will is a CFA Charterholder and led McKinsey's M&A service lines in Amsterdam and Seoul. Will served as a leader of World Economic Forum's young social leaders' group and founded and led an ESG non-profit in South Korea. He also has an experience of founding and leading a sustainable textile & fashion start-up.

Will holds a bachelor's degree in Applied Statistics and International Studies from Yonsei University (South Korea) and currently is a candidate for MC-MPA at Harvard's Kennedy School.
